"Evan Benedict joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in 2024 and serves as the Director of Grants Administration. In this role, he leads grant administration activities and acts as the primary administrator for Golden LEAF’s grant management system. His responsibilities include developing and implementing grantmaking policies and procedures, managing the grants management system, and providing technical support and training for both internal and external users. Evan also oversees data integrity and analysis to ensure accurate and efficient grant administration.

Prior to joining Golden LEAF, Evan gained extensive experience working with grants management systems in various capacities since 2021. This includes working as a Business Systems Analyst for a higher education grantmaker, where he successfully streamlined and enhanced their grants management system.

Evan graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Information Technology with an emphasis on Business Analysis. He is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics from the same university."
